CARE ADVICE

Generally speaking, any precious jewel is fragile and should be treated with the greatest care. A few simple actions and precautions will help you maintain the beauty and radiance of your jewellery.

Wearing Beit Sultan Jewellery

When not being worn, each jewel should be stored separately, so that the stones and metals do not rub against or scratch each other. We recommend that you keep your Beit Sultan jewellery in its original case for protection. When wearing your pieces, we recommend you avoid shocks that could affect the quality of your jewellery. Most jewelry can be cleaned to intensify its sparkle: gently scrub it with a very soft brush dipped in soapy water, then carefully rinse it and delicately blot it dry with a soft, non-lint cloth. If you have any doubts about the condition of your jewellery, the House will be delighted to assist you in caring for it.

Correct Storage of Beit Sultan Jewellery

Our jewellery is fine and rare and deserves the utmost of care. It is recommended to keep your gemstone jewellery in a separate compartment of a jewellery box or in individual cloth pouches to prevent the pieces from scratching one another. Diamonds being the most sparkling and hardest of all gems should be stored separately to avoid scratching other materials.

If storing chains in cloth pouches, please ensure to leave the catch hanging outside the pouch to reduce tangles.

To maintain the integrity of jewellery, it's important to regularly check the settings and clasps for security. These can become loose over time. If any loose claws or fastenings are noticed, the piece should not be worn, and it should be taken to the nearest jeweller for checking and repair. We offer repairs to all our products under warranty.

Cleaning Gems and Gold

The jewellery must be cleaned periodically to preserve original glory.

If worn regularly, jewellery can collect dust, grime and other unwanted particles causing it to lose colour and brilliance. Most gemstones are easily cleaned by soaking them in a simple solution of water and gentle soap. If you find your piece is especially dirty, scrub gently with a very soft toothbrush.
